We had a good sized group this evening - and a great deal of new faces and folks who have newly joined the Society. After the meeting Will commented to me that he had missed a couple of meeting and was surprised when he showed up to this one and didn't know anyone there. We practiced our usual songs and plunked out a few others - I think we played and sang along on Hey-Good Lookin' (thanks for bringing lots of copies John)and that was fun. A big Thank You to everyone who comes out to the meetings - there wouldn't be a uke society without you. |
