Do you yearn to learn to play ukulele?
The first and only Ukulele Society in Nashville, Tennessee can help!
The purpose of The Nashville Ukulele Society (NashukeS) is to have fun, learn how to play ukulele, and grow as musicians.
You can attend without owning or having picked up a musical instrument. If you have always wanted to play a musical instrument but have thought it was too difficult then the Ukulele is the instrument for you, it's a very easy and fun instrument to learn to play. We play and sing songs together, learn new songs and help beginners learn their way around the ukulele.
There is no cost to attend a meeting. So whether you're an 'Uker' or not, please come join us for one of our meetings. There will be at least one extra ukulele on hand so if you own more than one ukulele (and you don't mind sharing) bring your extras so that everyone can join in on the strum/sing alongs.

Next Nashukes Meeting: The Uke Society is taking a breather until November - a new meeting location has still not been secured and there are just too many other things going on this month for the meeting organizer (that's me)to make it happen. But fear not, faithful ukers!! Keep checking in here for updated information - if you are on the email list you will get an email update just as soon as we know where and when we'll be meeting.

A few chords strummed on an ukulele, enough to please a few others beside yourself, does more good in this world than the combined efforts of all the financiers and politicians that ever lived. - Frank Littig
